A couple of weeks ago, two gay men were assaulted in Holland because they were holding hands. A tragic event which sparked a beautiful response; a couple of days after the event took place hundreds of people walked hand in hand through Amsterdam to show their solidarity including many politicians. We will not be defined by these heinous acts but instead how we band together and react to them, loyal, united and filled with love.
If he were indeed gay, there is really no reason for him not to be openly gay. And it's so even in the US it may actually help his record sales to come out of the closet haha.

The music community is among the most vocal in speaking out for the rights of LGBTQ people, but we mostly see that from our pop singers like Madonna, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera — gay men make up a large part of their core fan base, after all. There are, however, a good number of straight male artists who are vocal about their support of the community.
